The service was led by the Reverend Karen Davies, herself a member of Welsh Frankton Mothers' Union and our banner was carried by Mrs Donna Leigh. The speaker was Katherine May, Salop Archdeaconry Leader, who spoke about different aspects of Mothers' Union. This was followed by Afternoon Tea in Welsh Frankton Village Hall to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the Welsh Frankton Mothers' Union Branch. A wonderful celebration cake was cut by a Welsh Frankton member, Mrs Iris Jones.
20th May was our monthly meeting held at the Town Hall, 2pm. The speaker was the Reverend Jane Stephenson, who spoke of her experience of being on TV's Bargain Hunt along with the Vicar of St. Alkmund's, Whitchurch.
