S. Mary's Autumn Fayre 2014

Harvest Festival Service

This year's Harvest Festival Service will be held on Sunday 5th October. This will also include a pet service. Following on from a successful first pet service last year, everyone is encouraged to bring their pets with them to the service for a blessing.

The Harvest Supper

The Harvest Supper will be held in the Town Hall on Friday 3rd October at 7.30pm. Tickets priced £10 will soon be available from Ann Harris and will include a three course meal with a starter, Rodney Stokes' home cooked beef with all the trimmings followed by apple pie and cream.

Joint Confirmation Service

On 14th December there will be a joint Confirmation Service at S. Mary's starting at 10.15am. The service will involve all churches in the Ellesmere Deanery. Any young members or adults from S. Mary's who are thinking of being confirmed are encouraged to speak with the Vicar to discuss arrangements and preparations.

Last Night of the Proms

The total profit from the concert after expenses was £3200 which will be divided equally between the church and North Shropshire Supporters of Age UK. This is a fantastic achievement and thanks to everyone involved with the organisation and to the audience on the night.
