Dear Friends,

November starts with All Saints' Day when we celebrate  the saints of the church, especially those who do not have a special saints' day. And in the evening we commemorate All Soul's, those the faithful departed and we read out names of those who have died recently.

At the end of August three of us from S. Mary's went to Taize, the Ecumenical Religious Community founded seventy-five years ago by Br. Roger to promote unity and solidarity and peace.

News from the Vicarage - September 2015

Dear Friends,

I hope that you have had a good summer, though the weather has not been that brilliant. And I also hope that those who have had their GCSE & A Level exam results have got what they hoped for.

I am now preparing to go off to the Ecumenical Community of Taize in France, which I am very much looking forward to. Ann Harris and Rebecca Gilman are accompanying me and I hope it will be an amazing experience for all us all. Expect more Taize style prayer and music when I get back!
